After relocating from Chicago to Charlotte, this family of four set out to build a home that blended clean lines with layered comfort. We joined them early in the process to advise on architectural selections and design furnishings for the entire home. Their personal style leaned modern and relaxed, and we designed the black paneled breakfast room as a striking contrast to the home’s planned white walls and kitchen cabinetry. The result is a craftsman-style new build filled with thoughtful details and character, tailored for their family and to accommodate one parent working full-time from home.
