Visiting Santa Fe in October for the annual Interior Design Society conference and awards was an unforgettable experience, brimming with inspiration at every turn. The adobe-style homes were breathtaking, showcasing warm terracotta tones, vibrant yellows, and deep blues that blended into the desert landscape. The Latin-influenced architecture was a departure from what we typically see in our region, with striking design elements like exposed wooden columns, rafters, and beams beautifully integrated into the structures. Santa Fe’s unique aesthetic left a lasting impression, sparking countless creative ideas as I dive into projects for the new year!

Over the summer, my family and I cherished some much-needed time together with a memorable trip to Europe to visit extended family. Our journey took us through Germany, Switzerland, and France, where we experienced breathtaking natural and architectural beauty. The rich history of the region came to life as we explored a 1300s castle, admired charming Tudor-style homes, gazed at the crystal-clear waters of Lake Lucerne, and marveled at the Gothic Revival splendor of St. Paul’s Church in Strasbourg. Sharing these awe-inspiring moments with my husband and children made the experience even more extraordinary and unforgettable, and was a perfect end to the summer!
