Longtime clients brought us in early to help evaluate a home they were considering—one with great potential, a beautiful lot, and plenty of room for reimagining. After purchase, we partnered with them to gut and redraw the entire layout, creating custom features like a two-sided buffet to define the open dining area and a quiet morning path from the bedroom to the bathroom for an early-rising husband. We kept the original stone fireplace as a grounding element, blending it seamlessly into a more modern design complete with a chef’s kitchen and Sub-Zero appliances.
