With the Holidays less than a week away, we’ve rounded up a few ways to spruce up your home before the big day comes. Here are 5 tips for Holiday decorating that you can implement within the next week!

Don’t be afraid to decorate with personal items or things passed down from family members. I remember all of our Christmas decorations growing up and love using them in my own home now! These carolers are one of many things my parents passed down to me!

Use natural elements, fruit and greenery for decor – it’s totally in style now! Us Southerners love magnolia leaves as an accent as well.

Swap out pillows for holiday colors or patterns. Don’t feel stuck with red or green, bring in a fun plaid or neutral colors to change things up! These can be pillows passed down from family members or simple ones you find around town – they’re only there for a month or so, so you don’t need to purchase any incredibly expensive ones unless that’s your style 😉

I love bows and ruffles! Feel free to add bows wherever – my dad added red velvet bows everywhere in my house growing up, so I decided to add them to my kitchen this year. It turned out so cute, and adds that little touch of holiday that we all were looking for.

We love a good smelling candle burning at all waking hours! Our new favorite from Bath and Body works is Balsam & Firewood. It smells delicious and lasts for hours.
